Three fundamental concerns are driving the formation of the new citizens organization: I. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on all businesses and property owners, with a particularly negative impact on faith- based and faith-inspired businesses and property owners. II. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on every citizen's constitutionally protected rights to freedom of expression, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly. III. The negative impact of the practice of homosexuality on the individuals who practice it and on the rest of the society. The main multifaceted emphasis of the group is to defend Traditional Marriage as 'between one man and one woman', to respond to the controversy at the University of Notre Dame regarding homosexual activism at several levels, to respond to 'special rights for homosexuals' ordinances as they come forward in the Region and to facilitate help and ministry for those suffering from the ill effects of the homosexual lifestyle. | |||||

URGENT ACTION ALERT!
Dear Profamily Friends, On Tuesday, November 20th, the Indiana Legislature will meet for Organization day. There will be extremely important issues that will affect our families this session. We need your help. As you might know, this session is the LAST chance for the protection of marriage to be put on the ballot. SJR7 MUST pass this year. If it doesn't, we must start all over again in 2009. It will then take until at least 2012 for us to get it on the ballot. (IF we ever get this chance again) You might ask. "Who is holding this floor vote up?" The answer is Speaker Pat Bauer. He MUST allow this for a full floor vote in order for it to pass the House and move to the Senate. He promised a floor vote, and he MUST be held accountable.
We are asking that on November 20th, you make two phone calls.
In Him,
< Back >
